Your hosts the Cryptid Guy, Tiny, and Slim share their experience, opinions, and tips about canvassing reports, woodland and homestead indicators or events around cryptid activity, and equipment to bring on a successful investigation.
NOTE: Be smart in the forest! Always be prepared. Know your limits.

This list is intended for 1-day only investigations.
cell phone, charged
USB charging sticks and cords (optional)
satellite GPS device (depending on location)
paper topo map and compass
notepad and pen/pencil
flashlight, no matter what time of day
tape measure, x2 at minimum
digital camera (and accessories, if applicable, e.g. additional lenses)
sterile gloves and plastic bags
offerings: tobacco, marbles, fruit, etc.
water and snacks
emergency heat packs / blanket (when appropriate)
rope and duct tape
small first aid kit
appropriate hiking clothes: boots, quick dry and stop-rip fabrics, hat
firearm, only if trained and certified (optional)
